The Ultimate Guide to Nature’s Aura
Discover everything you need to know about the Nature’s Aura mod for Minecraft. This full guide covers Aura generation, environmental mechanics, natural device crafting, automation setups, rituals, tree-based power production, and unlocking advanced mystical tools. Compatible with most modern Minecraft versions.
🌱 Getting Started – Your First Goal: The Ritual of the Forest
Everything in Nature’s Aura eventually revolves around the Ritual of the Forest.
Nearly all powerful items and tools are crafted using this ritual, so your first goal is to unlock it.
But before that, you need one item:
➡️ Step 1: Make Gold Powder
To get gold powder, you must first create Brilliant Fiber.
Brilliant Fiber Crafting
You’ll need:
- Gold Nuggets
- Short Grass (sheared)
- Leaves
Craft these together to get Brilliant Fiber.
Right-click leaves on any tree with Brilliant Fiber.
After 1–2 minutes, the leaf will turn into a Golden Leaf, and the effect spreads across the entire tree.
Breaking Golden Leaves
Break the leaves and you’ll receive:
- Gold Leaves (used later)
- Sometimes saplings or extra drops
Gold Powder
Place Gold Leaves alone in a crafting grid to obtain Gold Powder.
📘 Your Guidebook – The Book of Natural Aura
Before continuing, craft the official guidebook:
Book of Natural Aura
- 1 sapling
- 1 leather
- 2 paper
This book is essential. It contains visual blueprints for all structures and rituals — including the Ritual of the Forest.
🌳 The Ritual of the Forest – Your First Major Crafting System
This ritual is the centrepiece of the mod.
Building the Ritual
Use the Book of Natural Aura → Natural Practices → Ritual of the Forest → Visualize.
You place:
- Wooden Stands (crafted with logs + gold leaf)
- Gold Powder sprinkled on the ground
- A sapling in the center
When the sapling grows, the ritual activates.
How to Perform a Ritual
- Place items on the surrounding wooden stands
- Place a sapling in the center
- Grow it naturally or use bone meal
- The Aura swirls upward
- The tree is consumed
- Your ritual result appears
You can use JEI to check rituals.
You’ll also know it worked as there will be golden particles like on the left. Then, the tree will vanish and your new item will appear.
😄 Tokens – The First Ritual Items
Your first big crafts from the ritual are the four emotional tokens:
- Token of Joy
- Token of Fear
- Token of Anger
- Token of Sorrow
These require items like:
- Apples
- Flowers
- Iron ingots
- Gold leaf
- Torches
- Bottled Ghosts / Bottled Sunlight
(We’ll explain bottled sunlight & bottled ghosts soon.)
Each token has its own recipe inside JEI under “Ritual of the Forest.”
These tokens are essential: they’re ingredients for Aura generators, catalysts, and advanced tools.
☀️ 👻 Bottled Sunlight, Ghosts & Darkness
To craft tokens and many later items, you need bottled essences.
Make a Bottle & Cork (glass bottle + plank), then:
Where to Bottle Aura
- Overworld: Bottled Sunlight
- Nether: Bottled Ghosts
- End: Bottled Darkness
⚠️ There must be Aura in the air
If not, you’ll get Bottled Vacuum instead. But how do we measure / see aura? The next chapter covers that!
👁️ Measuring Aura – The Environmental Eye
You’ll eventually need to track Aura levels.
Craft Environmental Eye using the Ritual of the Forest with:
- Gold Leaves
- Gold Ingot
- Spider Eye
Place it in your Curios charm slot.
You’ll see "Aura Around" appear at the top-left of your screen.
🌼 Finding Naturally High Aura Areas
The world contains plants that naturally spawn with higher Aura:
- Aura Bloom – Overworld grassy areas
- Aura Cactus – Deserts
- Aura Mushroom – Mushroom Islands
- Crimson Aura Fungus – Nether
These are great for rituals requiring abundant Aura.
📦 Ender Crates & Ocular – Storage Magic
A powerful early utility: Ender Crates.
Craft with:
- Ender Chest
- Obsidian
- Bottled Darkness
Name them via an anvil, and all crates with the same name share inventory (like multi-channel Ender Chests).
The Ender Ocular works as a portable linked viewer.
🔥 Other Early Tools
- Crimson Meal: Bone meal for Nether plants
- Eyes of the Blaze, Shulker, and Pill: Locates fortresses, end cities, or pillager outposts
🪨 The Natural Altar – Your Second Major Crafting System
After rituals, the next huge structure is the Natural Altar.
Use the guidebook to visualize the build.
You'll need:
- Chiseled Stone Bricks
- Golden Stone Bricks (stone bricks + Brilliant Fiber)
- Oak Planks
When built correctly, it glows with Aura.
What It Does
It converts base materials into infused magical variants:
Key Transmutations
- Iron Ingot → Infused Iron
- Gold Ingot → Tainted Gold
- Stone → Infused Rock
These are used for nearly every advanced item in the mod.
Catalysts
Place catalysts on top of the pillar blocks:
- Transmutation Catalyst: Converts items into variants (e.g., mushrooms → crimson fungi)
- Crumbling Catalyst: Breaks down items (e.g., sugarcane → sugar)
Crafted using the Ritual of the Forest.
🌬️ Generating Aura – All Generators Explained
If you consume too much Aura, rituals fail.
Here are all major Aura generation methods:
🌸 Herbivorous Absorber
Places flowers around it.
Each flower absorbed produces Aura.
⚠️ Diminishing returns if using the same flower repeatedly.
Use 6 different types for best results.
🍇 Reaper of Ender Heights
Harvests nearby chorus fruit when activated with redstone.
💀 Disentangler of Mortals
Generates Aura when mobs die near it.
🌿 Swamp Hominid
Strips moss off mossy blocks, turning it into Aura.
Automation tip:
Use block placers & breakers.
🎆 Firecracker Gaze
Consumes fireworks to generate Aura.
More complex fireworks = more Aura.
🎯 Shooting Mark
Throw items at it:
- Snowballs
- Arrows
- Ender Pearls
More valuable items = more Aura.
🟩 Offshoot Observer
Generates Aura when slimes or magma cubes split.
💠 Creational Catalyst
Increases maximum Aura creation but causes diminishing returns.
🌳 Canopy Diminisher
Prevents giant oak trees.
Converts “oversized” tree potential into Aura.
⚡ The Offering Table – Offering to the Gods
A third major crafting system appears: the Offering Table.
Build the offering layout using flowers (any type). Again use the visualisation tool from the guidebook for this.
Spirit of Coalescing (Coing)
Made from:
- Bottled Sunlight
- Bottled Ghosts
- Tainted Gold
- Infused Iron
- Diamond
Place infused materials in the bowl, then throw a Spirit of Coalescing on it.
Produces:
Ingot of the Skies
- 1 infused iron = 1 ingot of the skies
- 1 tainted gold = 2 ingots of the skies
Used for high-end gear.
🐮 Altar of Birthing – Spawn Mobs Using Aura
Mechanics for breeding mobs etc.
Getting Spirits of Birthing
Breed passive mobs (cows, sheep, etc.) in areas with very high Aura.
They will drop Spirits of Birthing.
Using the Altar of Birthing
Throw items onto the altar:
- Material representing the mob (e.g., beef + leather for cows)
- Spirit of Birthing
The altar consumes the items and spawns the mob.
You can spawn:
- Sheep (colors depend on wool placed)
- Pigs
- Wolves
- Piglin Brutes
- Cave Spiders
- Many more
